About

Marvin Mad Mall was born as a student project at ESAT by the hand of eight of its students in collaboration with four students from the Berklee College of Music of Valencia.

Five artists took care of the graphical aspects of the game (HND in Creative Media Production: Computer Games  Animation) as the other three worked on the technical aspects (HND in Videogames Programming). The theme of the game, as well as the design of characters and environments are all original ideas from the people working in this project.

Marvin Mad Mall is an app in demo stages geared towards a wide audience. It is designed as a casual game, simple enough to be accessible to any tablet user.

The game takes place in Nashville, Tennessee, our main character's home town, during the 50s. The player takes control of Marvin, a man in need of money who is trying to pay for his daughter's wedding and his son's college fees. A huge mall has recently opened its doors at Nashville and it is hiring, Marvin decides to give it a shot.

Our guy thought he had seen it all during the war, but he had no idea of what would be waiting for him at the mall. He will have to guide clueless customers towards the shops they are looking for, and take care of the occasional thief, in order to keep his job.

Will the mall thrive through its difficulties? Will Marvin be able to pay for his family's expenses? It is in your hands now!
